Ⅰ.预习

1.       loud

loud 是形容词,响亮的,喧闹的。例句:He keeps talking in a loudvoice.

 他滔滔不绝地大声说话。

 Loud 的副词形式是loudly .例句:Don’t speak loudly, my little brother is sleeping now.

2.       worse

worse 是bad 和badly 以及ill 的比较级形式,属于不规则变话,用在两者进行比较的句子中。例如:Jim did worse in the English exam than Tom .

    bad 和badly 以及ill的最高形式是worst. 例如:He did worst of all the three.

 

3. farthest

这个词是far 的最高级形式,是指实际距离的远近。His house is the farthest from school in our class. 在我们班中,他家是离学校最远的。far 的另外一个最高级形式是furthest 。是指一种抽象的概念,起比较级形式是further. 例如:Mary and I are further because of the quarrelling. ( 吵架)

 

4.performer, actorplayer 区别

这些名词均有“演员”之意
actor 指在舞台剧、电影、电视剧或广播剧中以演出为职业的男演员,侧重扮演的角色。
player 侧重指职业或业余舞台演员。
performer 使用广泛,不仅可指舞台或影视演员,而且可指舞蹈演员、乐器演奏等的演员,侧重在观众面前的实际表演

一.词汇与短语学习

1.(1). success 名词,成功. 反义词是failure.

具体用法如下:success in sth ;     

success in doing sth;

the key to success

     Failure is the mother of success. 失败是成功之母。Last month’s flower show was a great success.上个月的花展举办得非常成功。

(2).succeed为动词, succeed in doing sth

(3).successful为形容词,获得成功的,有成就的。

a successful actor 有成就的演员。

(4).successfully为副词,成功地

2. act 名词,节目。动词,扮演。

   There were 15 acts yesterday. 昨天有15个节目。

3. win the prize for… 获得了…的奖

  She won the prize for the best performer the day before yesterday.

  她前天获得了最佳表演奖。

4. sth go to sb.某物由某人获得。

  The prize for the funniest act went to Tom.最有趣的演出奖由Tom获得。

5.without后接名词、代词、动名词或名词性短语。

  He went out without a cap.他不戴帽子出去了。

  She went out of the room without saying a word.她一句话也没说就走出了房间。

6.aloudloudloudly的用法

aloud副词,通常与read, speak, think等动词连用。read aloud 朗读    think aloud 自言自语地说。

loud 表示“大声”或“响亮”,可用作形容词和副词:

(1) 用作形容词。The music is too loud; please turn it down. 这音乐太吵人了,请把音量关小一点。

(2) 用作副词(与loudly 同义),一般只与动词speak, talk, laugh, sing 等连用,且必须放在这些动词之后。如:I can’t hear you, please speak louder. 我听不见,请说大声些。

loudly 只用作副词(与用作副词的loud 同义)。如:Don’t talk so loudly [loud]. 别这么大声讲话。

注:loudly 比用作副词的loud 使用范围更广,它除与speak,talk,laugh 等动词连用外,还可与其他表示声响的动词连用,且可以放在这些动词之前或之后。

When they were arguing ,they talked so loudly that the people in the next room could hear every word.   Suddenly the bell on the wall rang loudly。

另外,在用于比较级或最高级时,通常用loud,而不用loudly。
